Thunder Boosters
No drum corps can survive and be successful without an active and involved booster group. There are so many activities and projects that need workers and supporters that the booster organization becomes an integral part of putting the “show on the road”. Spokane Thunder Boosters includes parents, corps alumni, and other individuals with an interest in drum corps.
Please note that we can never have enough boosters and volunteers! We are always looking for new members and would welcome your participation...
The most common questions we hear are -- What does it take to be a Thunder Booster and how much time does it take? First of all, the time commitment is totally in your hands – you can decide how much time you can give. This is strictly a volunteer organization, so we don’t require any set amount of time. Obviously there are times during the year when we have more projects than at other times of the year. Each project and activity requires helpers with a variety of skills --- we can keep you as busy as you want to be!
What does it take? -- basically we need volunteers with a strong desire to help the corps. If you are interested in giving of your time and talent to help the Thunder put on an exciting and fun performance, we need (and want) you! Clearly we have some needs that require a more specific set of skills, but general helpers are also needed. Most folks work in the background, but some also tour with the corps during the summer, and this can be one of the most exciting and rewarding ways to spend a summer “vacation” you can imagine.
How do I volunteer?
In the “Forms Area” of this website is a Volunteer Application form that you complete and send to us. Please send the form to our general website email address at info@spokanethunder.org
