Call for Photos
We are looking for any photos of Thunder from all years and events. Our current collection of photos from past years has gotten fairly small and we would like to rebuild it. Whether you have hundreds of photos, or one snapshot of someone in a Thunder uniform, please send them to us!
When you send photos, please keep these few things in mind. First, please be sure that the photo is not copyrighted! This is very important in the current era of the internet where photos are freely distributed, sometimes not legally. We would like to avoid any potential legal issues, so your help with this would be greatly appreciated! Next, by sending us a photo you give us the right to use it both on the web and for the promotion of the corps, such as on posters and brochures. We will not use any photo for negative purposes. Finally, we ask that you send us high resolution photos if possible. This isn't vital but a high resolution photo will allow us to use it in more places. If you aren't sure how to figure out the resolution of the photo, send it any ways. At the very least we can use it in our gallery!
You can send photos to cw.design.05@gmail.com
If you have multiple photos:
If you happen to have a large collection of photos and don't want to spend hours uploading them via email, you can easily send them by using a free program called YouSendIt. YouSendIt allows you to send up to 100MB of data per email using the free "Lite" version. Sign up for an account, download and setup the application (about 2-3MB), and use YouSendIt to send large files. Just type the email address you would like to send the file, upload the files/folders you want to send, and send it! The program sends the files small bits at a time so if your internet disconnects for any reason, it will continue exactly where it left off once the internet reconnects.
To make sure all your photos get sent, you may want to send a compressed folder containing the photos. This is very simple to do. For Windows, right-click the folder containing the photos and select Send To>Compressed (zipped) Folder. If you are using a Mac, right-click (or ctrl-click) the folder with the photos and select Create Archive of "...". You can then send the .zip file and be sure all your photos are included!
We thank you for your support and are looking forward to seeing many great pictures!
