December Camp Report

The weather was cold outside, but inside Thunder was plenty warm at their first camp. Both the staff and members were excited to start the year, and much was accomplished over the weekend. Over course of the three days, the battery, front ensemble, and brass line had gotten to know the members of their sections as well as the staff. Each section rehearsed and memorized short exercises to perform Sunday afternoon for parents and the other sections, which demonstrated what they accomplished the past three days. Each section performed well and showed several flashes of brilliance while playing with this group of individuals for only the first time!

The staff was quite impressed with the work ethic of the members over the weekend and all the hard work they put in, especially for it being "just" the first camp! Each member should be proud of what they accomplished so far and keep up the great attitude in the upcoming camps. If that happens, Thunder can look forward to another great year!
